About Our Finger Size Guide

We’ve created this tool as a guide to give you a good indication of your partners finger size. Please bear in mind due to the scaling of printers this guide may not be perfectly accurate, however it will definitely be close. In reality a size or two wrong either way won’t ruin your big moment.

Importantly: please note that if your partner wears their ring on a different finger, the finger size will be different to her ring finger. If you aren’t able to find a ring that she wears on her ring finger please give us a call – we’re happy to help you out.

It always pays to get it right first time, but if you don’t there is no need to worry – Guthrie’s offers the first resize complimentary to you. If you’re having trouble getting this just right, we do have more ways and means to help you, however these are best described over the phone. Simply get in contact with us here to find out more.

If you are choosing a ring that has a wider thickness we recommend going one size larger, the extra surface area means a lower finger size can be uncomfortable. It’s also important to consider if your partner is wearing other rings on the same finger, although this is unlikely if you are purchasing an engagement ring.

If after this you are entirely unsure we can supply you with a temporary ring clip that will size down the ring by a few sizes. These take extra care as they can come loose easily though so please make your best endeavour to get it right the first time!
